DIRECTIONS TO TREBARWITH STRAND, TREBARWITH VILLAGE, TREWARMETT, TREKNOW, TREGATTA, TINTAGEL AND TREVALGA (see bottom of page for Tregoodwell) -

Enter Cornwall on the A30.

Bypass Launceston then Trebursye and Tregadillett.

At Kennards House, take the North Cornwall exit onto the A395. 

The A395 is about 10 miles long. At the end turn left onto the A39 signposted for Wadebridge and Camelford.

Keep on the A39 for just over a mile then turn right onto the B3314 signposted for Delabole, Tintagel and Port Isaac. 

After a mile and a half you come to a cross roads, go straight on here (signposted for Delabole, Port Isaac and Tintagel).

After about 200 yards, take the right turn onto the B3263 signposted for Trebarwith Strand, Tintagel and Boscastle. 

Stay on the B3263 for about 2 miles.

FOR TREBARWITH STRAND AND TREBARWITH VILLAGE -

At the bottom of the hill take the left turn to Trebarwith Strand.

EITHER (TREBARWITH VILLAGE)

Continue about ¾mile and take the left turn at the small X roads for Trebarwith Village. Go up the steep narrow lane about half a mile to the village and Highdown is on your right. Carry on through the village for about another half mile and Upton Mill and Hyde Barn (at Upton Farm) are on your left.

OR (TREBARWITH STRAND)

Continue for about a mile and you come to the Strand. Properties appear in this order -

Glen View (right hand side)

Glen Cottage (right hand side)

private road to Little Ruffo (right hand side)

Smugglers Cottage (left hand side)

track to Tredennis (left hand side to Port William pub)

Rest Harrow (right hand side)

Yellow Cottage (right hand side)

Gull Cottage (left hand side)

FOR TREWARMETT -

Pass the turn for Trebarwith Strand, continue up the hill into Trewarmett. Properties appear in this order -

Curlews (left hand side)

Trevalsea (left hand side)

Old Chapel (right hand side next to pub)

Penlee Cottage (right hand side, small lane by village notice board)

FOR TREKNOW -

Continue through Trewarmett and another mile brings you to Tregatta. Turn left signed for Treknow. Properties appear in this order -

Hillcrest (right hand side)

Puffins (right hand side)

Old Stores (right hand side)

Trelake Lane (left hand fork) to

Chibronn (right hand side)

Mabanta (left hand side)

FOR TREGATTA -

Continue through Trewarmett and another mile brings you to Tregatta. Follow the sharp right hand bend and Trewethen Barn is on your right through the gap in the wall.

FOR TINTAGEL -

Continue through Trewarmett and another two miles bring you to Tintagel. Go down the hill past the school on your right

EITHER (Sunnydene) take Fosters Lane on your right. Park alongside the orangey brown garage in the row on your left. Access property via back garden.

OR (Trehobbit) continue to the mini roundabout, turn left and Trehobbit is the top flat above Celtic Legend gift shop on your right (just before Old Post Office).

FOR TREVALGA -

Continue throught Trewarmett and into Tintagel. Turn right at the mini roundabout. Continue about two miles through Bossiney and Trethevy and you come into Trevalga (don't blink!) At the X roads turn right and Trevalga Chapel is about ¼ mile up the lane on your right.

FOR BILL'S COTTAGE TREGOODWELL -

Enter Cornwall on the A30.

Bypass Launceston then Trebursye and Tregadillett.

At Kennards House, take the North Cornwall exit onto the A395. 

The A395 is about 10 miles long. At the end turn left onto the A39 signposted for Wadebridge and Camelford. 

Continue towards Camelford and after about 2 miles (before entering the town) there are 2 left turns to Tregoodwell and Roughtor. Take either of these as they join together after a short distance. 

About half a mile on there is a right turn onto an unmade road. This unmade road forms a U shape and emerges back onto the Roughtor road.

Bill's Cottage is at the far end of the unmade road. Number 14. Garage has blue door.
