Proprietors - Mr and Mrs Llewellyn. This is a charming property full of character and with a wonderful atmosphere. The old Methodist chapel has been recently converted with great style. The original old timbers are evident and the rooms have high ceilings and large windows. The accommodation offers very spacious and light surroundings with lovely views to the sea. The Old Chapel is located in the small village of Trewarmett, just a mile from the beach at Trebarwith Strand and adjacent to the Trewarmet Inn. The Inn has a bar and restaurant open to non residents. However, don’t think you would be disturbed by any noise from the Inn. The walls are very thick and the bedrooms are at the rear of the property! The holiday apartment occupies part of the first floor of the building with garage space below (for one car, 6' max. headroom - no 4WDs, extra space on road outside). There is a raised patio garden at the rear with a pretty summerhouse, BBQ, garden furniture and views over farmland. The property would accommodate a total of 6 people. There are two bedrooms, one with a super king size bed, the other with twin single beds, each having a pull out single underneath. (Please note, this bedroom is not large enough to use both single beds and both pull out beds together. One pull out bed would need to be put in the lounge.). The main part of the apartment is a huge living area, 33' x 19' with kitchen facilities at one end. The kitchen is fairly compact but equipped to the highest standard with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge, separate freezer and all usual appliances. A bathroom (off the double bedded room and with another door from the landing) completes the accommodation. Here you have a bath, WC, basin and separate electric shower. TV with video and DVD supplied. Smoking is not permitted in this property. Pets are welcome at no extra charge but must be kept off the furniture. Bed linen provided. Electricity to be paid for by meter readings. Heating - 2 storage heaters in lounge, convectors in bedrooms, fan in bathroom. This is a truly unusual holiday property, comfortable at any time of year and suitable for couples or family groups. |
