TREVALGA CHAPEL, Trevalga, Nr. Boscastle.

During the past ten years or so, the old Methodist chapel in the tiny hamlet of Trevalga has been transformed from an empty shell to a unique and comfortable home. The owner has traveled extensively in South East Asia, hence the interior is an intriguing blend of rustic English practicality and interesting Eastern art.
Trevalga consists of just a farm and a few cottages and is on the coast road midway between Tintagel and Boscastle. The property occupies an elevated position on a quiet lane about 200 yards off the coast road and the village. There is a five minute walk to the coast path which offers a breathtaking walk to either Boscastle or Tintagel and beyond. Your own transport is really essential to access shops, restaurants, etc. of which you will find a wide variety in the nearby villages.
The interior of the chapel is arranged on many different levels, each linked by spiral stone stairways. There is a comfortable lounge with a spectacular sea view from the huge floor to ceiling window, a cosy dining room and compact kitchen. Two double bedrooms provide the sleeping requirements, one has an en-suite bathroom (bath with shower over, basin and WC), the other has access to a small cloakroom to avoid night time interruptions!
Outside, there is ample parking off road for two cars. Just across the quiet lane is a raised barbeque and seating area with lovely views, ideal for evening relaxation in the summer. There is very little traffic along this lane and the situation is very peaceful and private.
Heating - log burner in
lounge, oil fired stove in dining room (oil supplied), night storage heater in
lower bedroom and fan heater in bathroom.
Normal kitchen facilities plus microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine/tumble
dryer.
Radio/CD/tape player, TV and safe provided.
Bed linen and towels provided.
Electric to be paid for except for off-peak heating.
Pets by arrangement but sheep in fields.
No smokers. No children under 5 years.
Several changes in levels internally regrettably make this property unsuitable
for wheelchairs.
Prices on tariff pages are for full, four person occupancy. Reduce by 10% for one couple (one bed) occupancy.
